project HOPE

Putney Farmers’ Market, August-September 2018

The first installation I facilitated was located at the Putney Farmers' Market for the month of September 2018 and involved folded and suspended origami swallows made by myself and members of the community.  Swallows are a commonly held symbol for hope.
I offered two free workshops on how to fold the swallows.  This was an intergenerational project and all ages participated.  We suspended more than 250 recycled paper swallows.
