Amber Paris (b. 1978, Pennsylvania) is an artist and educator living in Southern Vermont.  She received her BFA degree with a concentration in Painting and a minor in Gender Studies from Tyler School of Art/Temple University (2005) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Amber works in a wide range of mediums and her painting incorporates several elements that bridge the divide between fine art and craft resulting in a dynamic multi-disciplinary style.  Her subject matter circles around issues of identity,longing, presence and memory. Her art work is featured in a permanent installation in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia and in numerous private collections across the country.  She has over one dozen murals in public and private installations throughout the greater Philadelphia area as well as Maryland.  Amber is passionate about community engagement and has initiated and facilitated collaborative, community art projects and residencies throughout Southern Vermont over the past several years.
