Portals was a solo exhibition at Soft Spot Gallery from late 2025 through early 2026 and included a body of work from the previous 18 months. Several opportunities to consider portals and how we presence ourselves and become aware- particularly of our emotional states- were offered throughout the gallery.

Portals that considered Fear and Awe were also on display and invited interaction and collaboration.

An opening event included live music by Lock Take Hide.

The idea of portals grew out of a body of work I developed during a fellowship residency at InSitu Polyculture in September 2024. During the residency, I spent a lot of time exploring grief- and beginning to work with ideas about portals and what it means to step into, or through, emotions and really get comfortable spending time with them.
